Oil on acrylic primed cradled MDF board. Painted from life. A3. As you can see I initially began painting a bunch of flowers from life but I did not like the direction the painting was going. I decided to wipe it back and begin again but in the process of doing so I discovered a very different painting was hiding there all along.
